The impetus for the creation of the dual method
The reason for creating it was that I thought that if there was an Eiken version of Callan, I would like my child to take it.
The language is based on American English so that it can be used in everyday conversation.
There is a simple reason why Japanese people cannot speak English even though they have studied it for years. It is because they have not memorized sentences that are commonly used in conversation.
Foreigners learn Japanese quickly because they say it over and over again and make an effort to memorize many example sentences necessary for daily life.
I think it is also significant that foreigners in Japan have the opportunity to speak Japanese every day.
I think Japanese people can make an effort, but they finish their study without memorizing the important example sentences. I think that is where the difference lies.
The most important feature of the dual method
The advantage of the direct method, in which students listen to a question and memorize the answer without looking at the text, is that they can really speak.
For example, if you are reading a long sentence, there are sample answers to the questions, and you will memorize all of them in English.

Dual Method RSP
Conversation-based and article discussion
Longer sentences were prepared by Americans according to the desired Eiken level.
The article includes 6 to 10 questions and sample answers, which can be used for conversation training.
The level of difficulty is made a little easier than long reading comprehension, and either the starter lesson or RSP is recommended as an introduction to the targeted level. Alternatively, the lessons are more discussion-based, so they are recommended for those who are aiming for conversation as well as for the Eiken test.

Lesson of the first part of the question
Question 1) can be scored based on how well you know English vocabulary!
We have created lesson materials for the (fill-in-the-blanks) part of question (1), which is one of the most difficult questions in the Eiken exam, from the latest Eiken past exam questions with the new method.
A Japanese translation is provided so that foreigners can also teach the part of the main question (1).
The reason for providing a Japanese translation is to save time during short lessons by using a dictionary to look up the meaning of words.
Since the answer to a question is a sentence, it is more effective to have an English translation of the Japanese so that the meaning can be fully understood.
You can study for the English proficiency test while conversing with a teacher with correct pronunciation and intonation.
This material is designed so that students can learn all aspects of English conversation, including reading, listening, speaking, and writing, all at once through the actual questions in the monosyllabic part of question 1.
The lessons also incorporate self-directed thinking, which sets them apart from the one-way teaching type of Eiken materials.

Long-reading dual method
There are sample answers to long-answer questions taken from past Eiken exams, and students will memorize all of them in English one by one as they proceed.
For bilingual students or those who are not satisfied with the direct method with Japanese translation, we also offer an English-only version, Type B. However, we recommend Type A for those who do not want to look up words during the lesson.

Textbooks based on the essential vocabulary and example sentences of the Children's English Proficiency Test, with videos and dictation printouts available at all times, will ensure that the students are able to master the material.
Even if you only take lessons, you will not feel that your English skills are improving because repetitive practice is important for English. We encourage you to use the videos and printouts as well, even if it is just for 5 minutes every day.
Unless you have an environment where you can speak with a foreigner every day, it may be difficult to introduce English to your child without video or audio review of the lessons.
